This site had been active for around 5 years, prior to that it had a different name that I doubt anyone remembers. It was named after my third total L2 character which was named after my cat Ellie. What started out with me rambling to myself, later hosting my clan forums, hosting the guides after Stratics had their wipe, etc, it turned into a popular thing with the help of Elmar. Clearly we wouldn't have gotten anywhere without fans visiting and contributing to the discussions.
All that started just because I thought it was ridiculous that well into C2 we were still using Korean C1 guides on most of the fan sites. Why didn't anyone else update them until I did? I don't know. The time it requires was probably a lot of it. We could easily spend 2-3 hours or more per day, which I know I often did, just making the guides, much less monitoring the site to keep 5 page ads of garbage deleted.
The wiki is still up here only because I love wikis. We did not wish to have the other data taken without permission, and with the site making no income, and me paying the bills, that's just how it's going to be. Yes, hosting wasn't that much, but time is valuable. All good things come to an end eventually.
